How to Join

Get in under 2 minutes.

A simple step-by-step guide to connecting to VoidSMP for the first time. Java Edition only.

Launch Minecraft Java Edition

Open the Minecraft Launcher and make sure you're on Java Edition. Any version above 1.21.11 is supported. Log in with your Microsoft account if prompted.

Bedrock Edition is not currently supported due to resource pack and technical limitations.

Go to Multiplayer

From the main menu, click Multiplayer. If you see a warning about online play, click Proceed. Then click Add Server in the bottom-left corner.

Enter the server address

In the Server Address field, type the IP below. Give the server a name (e.g. VoidSMP) then click Done.

Connect & join a game mode

Double-click the server in your server list to connect. Once you're in the Lobby you'll be able to select your game mode through the NPCs. Start with VoidSMP to begin in the primary game mode

If the server doesn't appear online, try clicking Refresh in the server list, it can take a moment to ping.
